The ground floor and the first floor of the house were made of load-bearing wooden masonry. Thanks to a bold design gesture and a corresponding static study, all internal load-bearing walls were removed, thus fulfilling the owners’ basic desire for a single, open plan view. Supporting the roof with metal construction allowed the opening of large openings on the outer load-bearing wall to reveal the wonderful view to the plain and the sea in the background.
